Deadly Land Dispute Erupts in Madhya Pradesh
A violent clash over a land dispute in Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh district resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to five others, including women and a child. The incident occurred on Sunday in Simra Khurd village, within the Bamhorikala police station area.
Details of the Incident
According to police reports, the confrontation stemmed from a dispute over six bighas of agricultural land. A group of 8-10 individuals armed with sticks and sharp weapons attacked the victims.
Victims and Injuries
The deceased have been identified as Chaturbhuj (35), Parmalal (37), and Balram (44), all residents of Simra Khurd village. One victim died at the scene, while the other two succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment at Jatara Hospital.
The injured include:
- Rekha Lodhi (34), wife of Chaturbhuj
- Chaturbhuj's 17-year-old son
- Chunnibai (40), wife of Parmalal
- Parmalal's 10-year-old daughter
These individuals sustained injuries while attempting to intervene in the attack.
